Richard Templeton Contracting Ltd is an East Otago based agricultural contractor specializing in cutting / mulching hedges up to approximately 6.5m topping height.
We use a McConnell Reach mower, with a flail head mulching mower and saw blade. the mower mulches up everything that is cut, which means there is NO CLEAN UP required.  This means a big time-saving from an otherwise arduous clean up job.

Hedge Trimming

Richard Templeton Contracting Ltd is an Otago based agricultural contracting company providing Hedge cutting / mulching services for mixed crop farms, sheep and cattle farms, commercial parks, sports grounds, reserves and lifestyle blocks in the Otago district.
Richard Templeton Contracting Ltd provides a range of professional services for all your Hedge Cutting / Mulching as well as Roadside mowing including Ditch / Water race clean up requirements.
Using a specialist McConnel Reach Mower powered by a 120hp Valtra Tractor, means we can provide a fast and tidy cut without the need for any clean.
All the cuttings are mulched during the cutting process, creating an efficient and economical option for trimming Gorse Hedges, Hawthorn Hedges, Conifer and leaved tree Hedges.
There are several advantages of using a Reach mower with Mulcher Head: No Clean up, the cuttings are mulched to promote healthy growth of the hedge, less dangerous than a flail cut.
